Quick ticket scanning tips for first time users
If you want some tips to make the scanning ticket process easier and more efficient, consider trying the following:
TIP #1: SCANNING ENTIRE ORDER
Scan the whole order instead of one ticket at a time to make the process faster. To admit the entire order, scan a ticket and click the green check Mark. Then, click “View Whole Order” and click the order to admit everyone.
TIP #2: CHECKING TICKET STATUS
To check the status of a ticket, click “Test Mode” located in the options' menu. The scanner won’t mark the ticket used, but will provide a status.
TIP #3: CHARGING EQUIPMENT
This might seem like a no-brainer, but make sure to charge up all your equipment before an event. That way, everything is 100% charged, and you don't have to worry about running out of power mid-event.
TIP #4: FOR QUICK TROUBLESHOOTING OF UNKNOWN ISSUES
If you keep experiencing trouble, try pressing the home button to exit the app back to the phone's app menu and then tap on the Purplepass app to return back in. You should still be logged in since you minimized the app. Usually this will resolve any small issues. If that does not work, try turning the phone off and then back on. Also ensure you have a strong signal on 3G, 4G, 5G or LT.
