So you've just learned how to suspend the human body! And you want to really show off your skills. Or you've been at it for years and your cell phone pics grabbed at the last moment don't show how good you really are.

In this class, we'll explore ways of not only showing your rope work, but more importantly, showing how beautiful your rope bottom truly is in rope. We will discuss working with problem angles, how to keep things interesting, composition, and how to deal with your backgrounds.

This class won't cover the fundamentals of suspension. But we will review step-by-step how to choose suspension poses, and how to shoot and light them for maximum effect. I will do a step by step demo explaining my own thought process. If you need suspension lessons, I strongly urge you to learn from a qualified rigger.

This class will focus on using a DSLR camera. However, some of the topics covered (such as composition) will also apply to those using camera phones.

The_Silence started photographing his rope work over 4 years ago and shoots multiple times a week. He developed his style through adapting what he's learned in classes, the internet, and a whole LOT of trial & error. From shooting in temperatures of 37 degree to 110 degrees, outdoors, in homes, hotels, studios, under trees and bridges, he has learned how to make any situation usable.
