A showcase of interpretive dance poetry as seen by two out-of-towners trying to fake it in New York.
Nomi Wiersma is a 20 something choreographer/poet/musician creature who moved to NYC from Kitchener, Ontario where she was born and raised and first discovered the bliss of venting her spleen through poetry. Nomi recently graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy where she first started exploring the fusion of poetry and dance, something she plans to further pursue. Anyone with a trust fund is more than welcome to pay off Nomi's student debt and save her the agony of trying to sell experimental art.
A recent graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Shany Dagan is a 23-yr-old Israeli dancer and pianist who moved to NYC where she discovered her potential in singing and acting. Should anyone be looking for a slightly unusual Jewish dancer to work with, Shany is currently seeking professional employment in her...well...profession. She would like to dedicate this performance to her Grandmother back in Israel.
