TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR, BEGINNING AT 6PM Built around Mahler’s heart-wrenching Adagietto from his Fifth symphony, the program is rounded out with Adoration by Florence Price, Japanese composer Takashi Yoshimatsu's Atomic Hearts Clute Suite which is an homage to Pink Floyd, the Beatles, and Emerson, Lake & Palmer, and Howard Hanson’s ethereal Serenade -- featuring Festival Founder and Artistic Director Linda Chesis on flute -- before concluding its emotional tour-de-force with a stunning arrangement of the sentimental favorite Waltzing Matilda. |
