CHERE's summer Zoom forum -- Aug. 4th, 2-4 PM -- will set the stage for our third hybrid conference and second in 2022, on Oct. 7th, 2022, 9-2, at Goodwin University.  We'll be looking specifically at the complex issue of "The Disconnected Student -- A Stunning level of disconnection," according to the reporting done by Beth McMurtrie, Senior Writer at the Chronicle of Higher Education, who surveyed over 200 campus representatives (Chronicle, April 29) to confirm what many of us have encountered, accelerated for sure by the pandemic, but preceding it.  Beth will be there in person, followed by some campus experts representing several public and private colleges and universities.   Per usual at CHERE events, a group of students will discuss "disconnection" at the ground level.
