Jeremy Luis Lopez & Michele Wong Description
Jeremy Luis Lopez is a Colombian American tenor from Hicksville, New York. This summer, he is excited to make his Mexican debut with the Bel Canto Institute of San Miguel de Allende in their annual opera concert. On the operatic stage, Jeremy has recently been seen performing roles and scenes such as Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore), Mr. Plume (Der Schauspieldirektor), and Alfred (Die Fledermaus). Earlier this year, he was semifinalist in the 2022 Premier Opera Foundation International Vocal Competition. Jeremy’s rising success as a young artist has driven him to become the sensitive performer he is today.
Michele Wong is a pianist with a passion for collaborative performance. At age 11, she was the very first Next Generation Artist featured by the Omega Ensemble. As one of their featured performers, as well as in collaboration with other similar organizations such as Project: Music Heals Us, she has performed and worked with some of the leader chamber musicians of today, such as members of the Escher string quartets, among many others. Michele is currently studying collaborative piano at Indiana University. She holds a BM in piano performance from the Eastman School of Music, where she studied with Dr. Douglas Humpherys. In addition to performances in some of the most prestigious venues in the U.S., including Carnegie Hall, the Kaufman Center, the San Francisco Conservatory, and Bruno Walter Auditorium, she has also performed in St. Petersburg, Russia at the Alexander Nevsky Lavra and the Museum of Theater and Music. |
