Description

Richmond Ballet’s Minds In Motion Ambassador program joins together with the School of Richmond Ballet Youth Ensemble to celebrate their love of dance while also recognizing each other’s talents and supporting one another through struggles. By achieving this we create a community that is stronger, more diverse, and compassionate. After these last difficult years, together we can look toward the future and a brand-new day.

In this student version of Appalachian Spring, audiences will experience Aaron Copland's familiar, sweeping score through the eyes of a pioneer village. At the end of a Spring day's labor, the village gathers in a celebration of community, nature, and barn-raising.
