HomeDadCon 2022 - Phoenix Residence Inn by Marriott

As one of the longest-running fatherhood events in the country, HomeDadCon - aka the Annual At-Home Dads Convention - is coming to the Southwest for the first time! Fathers from all over the country come to network, find support, and learn from each other. It also attracts renowned authors, researchers and experts on parenting and child behavior as speakers, offering a chance for professional development, specifically tailored for at-home dads.

The unique and welcoming atmosphere of this low-pressure event is organized by volunteer dads, for dads like you! Presented by The National At-Home Dad Network, a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to provide advocacy, community, education and support for families where the fathers are primary caregivers for their children.

What Does Registration Include?

Your ticket includes all official HomeDadCon programming, lunch and dinner on Friday, and lunch on Saturday. Those who pay NAHDN Membership dues as part of their registration also are entitled to voting rights during our Annual Meeting. Where Should I Stay?

The Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Downtown is both our event venue and official hotel; we highly recommend staying there. The Residence Inn by Marriott is offering a special discounted HomeDadCon rate of $169/night for a double occupancy guest room. Each room comes with a fully equipped kitchen, free WiFi, and free breakfast. Valet Parking is a negotiated $20/day, self parking for those not staying the night is $15/day.

Why You Should Stay At The Official Hotel (even if it costs a little more than an alternative):

• FREE BREAKFAST! Attendees to HomeDadCon who stay at the official hotel have free Residence Inn made-to-order breakfast available to them. Stay elsewhere, and you're on your own for breakfast.

• It supports the NAHDN: We are required to fill a large percentage of the rooms blocked out for our event, and if we do not meet that number then the organization is responsible to cover the rest. Staying at the official hotel helps ensure we can use event revenue towards putting on an amazing event rather than covering such extra costs.
• It's convenient: Staying at the same hotel where the event is taking place gives you several advantages all weekend, including eliminating any travel time or expense from hotel to venue, and additional time to network with other attendees. Hotel guests may park overnight at the hotel for free as well.
• The Phoenix Sky Train will bring you from the airport right to the hotel!

Need a Roommate?

If the cost of a room is a concern and you would like to split the cost with a roommate but don't have one, HAVE NO FEAR! Once you register, you will be able to be added to our HomeDadCon Attendee Facebook group where you can connect with other attendees and find a roommate.

When Should I Arrive?

The core programming of HomeDadCon 2022 starts Friday September 30th and ends mid-afternoon on Saturday October 1st.

To take full advantage of our activities before and after the core programming, we suggest planning to arrive in Phoenix on Thursday the 29th and staying until 7 pm on Saturday the 1st.
