LOL Comedy Night is back with a lineup of top talent from New York City. A new sit-down dinner service will be offered to elevate your comfort and experience. Your favorite wines will available by the glass or bottle along with sangria specials and mixed wine cocktails. Michael Somerville tried standup comedy on a dare while a student at the University of Notre Dame. He was soon emceeing Fighting Irish pep rallies and growing 70's style sideburns to do extra work in "Rudy". Upon graduation, he moved to New York City and took a job in advertising but, when his neck became irritated from shaving every day, retired to pursue comedy full time. His first job was dancing in a pink bear suit at a Bar Mitzvah. He was hooked. Since then, Michael has carved a unique niche in entertainment. A comedian, TV host, writer, advice guru … there isn’t much he doesn’t do. Michael wrote and hosted the reality show “Wingman,” imparts humorously insightful advice on The Hallmark Channel and has performed standup on The Late Show with David Letterman four times. He also serves as a panelist on various programs for VH1, Bravo and The History Channel and spent three years as Glamour Magazine’s renowned dating columnist “Jake”. Michael has hosted shows for Nickelodeon, Starz and Encore and contributed to numerous publications from Time Magazine to Maxim. His two comedy CD’s "Welcome to Somerville" and "Handsomely Disheveled” play in regular rotation on satellite radio. In his free time, Michael likes sleeping late and fettuccini, and loathes the sound of honking horns. While generally convivial, he is most fun after coffee. Meghan Hanley, fresh off her feature in Forbes Magazine, is a Brooklyn based, nationally touring stand-up comedian. As well as, producer, writer and star of the web series, “Sports Tabata.” Throughout the pandemic Meghan has been zooming from her bedroom for private events, fundraisers and corporate clients, including The NFL, Bank of America and Samsung. While at home, she also teamed up with Standup2corona.org, a non profit, that keeps comedians at work, while putting food into the food bank, through Feeding America. Pre-Covid, Meghan appeared on AXSTV’s “Gotham Comedy Live,” The MSG Network, DreamsTv, as well as Fox’s “Laughs,” and “Red Eye.” Her quick wit and upbeat persona, lead to her being featured in several Festivals, and a tour overseas for our Troops, with Armed Forces Entertainment. Additionally, Meghan smiles a lot, which some people find suspicious, but mostly endearing. Don’t miss the chance to see this very funny woman in action! Andy Pitz, is certainly on the rise. He s a regular at New York’s best comedy clubs including The World Famous Comic Strip Live, The Comedy Cellar and Gotham Comedy Club. One television, Andy has scored spots on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (2x), Gotham Comedy Live and as a winner on Star Search on CBS. Andy has also worked in Atlantic City and Las Vegas where he has worked with numerous national acts including Brad Garrett and The Doobie Brothers. Look for more high profile appearances in the near future and beyond from this great talent!  |
