Barnaby Finch

Description

Hanky Panky will perform for DVAC’s MUSIC AT THE CENTER Night, May 9th 2020, at the Diamond Valley Arts Center at 123 N. Harvard St., Hemet Ca 92543. Doors open at 6:30pm with the show starting at 7:00pm. Admission is $20 for General Admission and $15 for Members.

Hanky Panky is another project of Barnaby Finch. The repertoire, while predominately dedicated to the great Hank Williams, includes other country favorites. Regarded as one of the most significant and influential American singers and songwriters of the 20th century, Williams recorded 35 singles (five released posthumously) that reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Country & Western Best Sellers chart, including 11 that ranked number one (three posthumously). Finch and his band of virtuosos pay tribute to the great Hank Williams in a musically wonderful way.

Barnaby Finch is a guy you've heard even if you have no jazz-awareness at all. That's Finch playing on the Lionel Ritchie/Diana Ross mega-hit, “Endless Love,” back in the early 1980s. He also toured the world with guitarists George Benson, and Lee Ritenour, and saxophonist Ronnie Laws.

MUSIC AT THE CENTER is a fundraiser for The DVAC and its programs. Contact dvacinfo@gmail.com for sponsorship opportunities.  Doors open at 6:30 pm with the concert beginning at 7:00 pm.
