​The course serves as a bridge course for students who have successfully completed a Medical Assisting program within the last 5 years and wish to further their education by seeking a Phlebotomy certification.
The Phlebotomy Bridge Course consists of 90 hours of lecture/lab and will prepare students for their national certification through NHA as a CPT.  There is no clinical externship required for this course.   Students enrolling must submit proof of successful completion of an accredited program within the last 5 years.   Students who are unable to provide proof of completion will be referred to the clock hour program, currently offered through GateWay Community College.  Various times and locations are available. 

Total costs are:
Tuition:  $650
Books:  $90, to be purchased at...........
Uniform Requirement:  Scrub top and bottoms of any color, closed toed non- skid shoes



Please note, the cost of the program does not include books or the cost for the national certification.  National certification is offered through NHA, which students can take on site upon completion and meeting eligibility criteria.   The cost of the certification exam is the students responsibility, payable directly to NHA.   The cost is $117.
