THE STORY

Julius Caesar, in pursuit of Pompey, lands in Egypt, where Pompey’s wife, Cornelia, and her son Sextus negotiate a reconciliation.

Ptolemy greets Caesar
with the gift of Pompey’s severed head.

Cornelia is overcome with grief and attempts suicide.
Her step-son Sextus  threatens vengeance.

Händel’s timeless opera about twisted sibling rivalry and out of control ambition is awesome!

Come see and hear us perform
this brilliant MASTERPIECE!
