College Pros:Men About Campus

Description
Following CHERE's Successful June conference on "Diversity & Retention," and Sept. conference on "Women in College" co-sponsored by the Aurora Women and Girls Foundation, we conclude our 2018 series by looking at men and other groups, their challenges for success in college, and successful programs.  Among the questions we’ll be exploring with expert panelists, keynote speaker, and relevant, engaging break-out sessions:

 Why is diversity important?
 How does the “secret society” of college get opened for
first generation students, students of color, and other "challenged" groups?
 Why are men going to college in smaller numbers than women?
What can we do about this?
 Why are men who go to college graduating at lower rates than
women? What can we do about this?
 Why are there so few people of color in faculty and senior staff
positions?
 How can we get men, especially men of color to comfortably access support services?
 Do other "minority" groups experience similar challenges?
...and more
