Description
New York’s leading standup comedians from across the LGBT and Ally spectrum at the Duplex Cabaret Theater.

Taffy Jaffe started standup after she retired from being a sit-down shrink. She was the winner  of Gotham Comedy Club’s Ladies Of  Laughter Festival, as well as the award for Best Comedy Newcomer.

She has appeared at Boston Comedy Festival, "Whine, Women and Wine"  at The Friars Club, and on Lena Dunham’s: “Woman of The Hour” podcast.

Tarik Daniels has performed at Gotham Comedy club and the legendary Stonewall Inn. He has been featured in the upcoming web series “Next Level Anxiety”.

Danny McWilliams has been a fixture in the standup comedy world since 1985. He was a founding member of the renowned standup comedy team Funny Gay Males. He has appeared on The Howard Stern Show, The Joan Rivers Show, many others, and has written special material for comedian Margaret Cho.

Jeena Bloom came out to the world both as a lady and as a comic a year ago, and people have, for the most part, laughed only when they were supposed to.  Jeena has performed at NYC comedy clubs such as the Carolines, Broadway, and Greenwich Village Comedy Clubs as well as at People’s Improv Theater, the Magnet Theater and performed at the 2017 Del Close Marathon at UCB Chelsea.  Over the past year, she has been profiled in New York Magazine, appeared in a documentary on vice.com.

Dana Friedman is, in all likelihood, New York's first Orthodox Jewish, transsexual comic. Her performances address a wide variety of topics, including many outside the very unusual norms of standup comedy. She has appeared with or opened for Janeane Garofalo, Lizz Winstead, Yanis Pappas, Christian Finnegan, and other major headliners at clubs and theaters all over the New York tri-state area and occasionally beyond, when her parole officer is on vacation.

and your headliner:

Emma Willman is one of the top comedians in New York City. She’s a native of Maine, and is a regular at New York’s legendary Comedy Cellar. Emma made her late night debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in 2016 and has also performed standup on Fuse’s Uproarious, Seeso’s Night Train with Wyatt Cenac and The Guest List and AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live.
In addition to performing at colleges and clubs all over the country as a headliner, Emma has opened for distinguished acts such as Louie Anderson, Louis C.K and Carly Aquilino. She’s also been named one of the 10 Funniest Woman in NYC by Time Out NY and one of the 100 Woman We Love by GO Magazine. In 2016, Emma was featured in Elle Magazine’s Women in Comedy issue.
