UGA Symphony Orchestra

Description

The University of Georgia Symphony Orchestra is one of the Hugh Hodgson School of Music’s premier performing ensembles. The orchestra showcases some of the university’s finest players as they perform masterworks under the baton of Maestro Mark Cedel. This concert will feature George Gershwin’s Concerto in F Major in which internationally-acclaimed pianist and UGA faculty member Damon Denton will be the featured pianist, and conclude with Beethoven’s mighty Symphony No. 3 in E flat Major, the “Eroica.”
