Madame Infamy, written by Jp Vigliotti with music and lyrics by Cardozie Jones and Sean Willis, is the dark and moving tale of Marie Antoinette, last Queen of France, and Sally Hemings, slave and mistress of President Thomas Jefferson. Fighting hardship, scandal, and loss, each must find the strength to combat a nation in hopes of protecting the ones she loves. Coming off their Equity staged reading in November of 2015 and 2014 run in NYMF, Madame Infamy is hosting a one-hour show of the rich and moving score.   Produced by Alexa Bishop.

Jp Vigliotti
Jp is the Artistic Director of the Harbor Conservatory in East Harlem and is a proud theatre practitioner with a foundation as a director and writer. As an educator Jp has developed many musical theatre programs for youth in the inner cities across the country.  In 2007 he wrote and directed “The Myspace Chronicles” which originally premiered as a workshop in Los Angeles and was produced Off Broadway at New York’s Theatre Row.  In 2009 Jp teamed up with Cardozie Jones and Sean Willis to turnkey a theatre concept into “Madame Infamy”. The project has taken them from the heart of Virginia to Paris and back several times to research the core of this epic tale.

Cardozie Jones
Cardozie Jones is a theater writer, director and educator. A Philadelphia native, he has spent his life deeply rooted in the performing arts and moved to NYC in 2001 to study musical theater. Cardozie is committed to contributing—as both an artist and educator—to creating more diverse, inclusive and equitable spaces for theater artists at all levels.

Sean Willis
Sean trained in classical piano from the age of eight and by the time he reached high school Sean was playing in orchestra pits and accompanying singers from Long Island to France. After studying with the world renowned Marching 100 Band at Florida A&M University, he completed his music studies at Hunter College and began to work in the Tri-State area's Gospel and club scene, playing with a number of professional artists locally and in Europe.

Alexa Bishop
Alexa is a Cornell University graduate and is passionate about these writers and this show. She has been guiding and supporting Madame Infamy since 2014 and has big dreams for them. She currently works as an assistant to a Broadway General Manager.
