Description
Boston Conservatory students and graduates sing Alexander Sage Oyen’s songs.
 
Alexander Sage Oyen (Composer/Lyricist) is the recipient of the 2014 ASCAP Foundation’s Lucille and Jack Yellen award for lyricists. His musicals include OUTLAWS (Goodspeed Festival of New Musicals- book by James Presson, dir. Noah Himmelstein), ARCHIE'S FINAL PROJECT (Book by James Presson and David Lee Miller), DIVA (book by Sean Patrick Monahan), A NIGHT LIKE THIS (book, music, lyrics) and MOMENT BY MOMENT (directed by Brandon Ivie, 54 Below. Production at Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand). He and collaborator James Presson were awarded the 2013-2014 Dramatist Guild Fellowship and their musical, OUTLAWS, was a 2014 NAMT Finalist and was the recipient of the 2014 ASCAP Workshop. He was named one of Playbill’s “Contemporary Musical Theatre Writers You Should Know,” and he was selected for the 2014 Johnny Mercer Songwriter’s Project. His music has been heard at 54 Below, Joe’s Pub, Playwrights Horizons, The Signature Theatre, New World Stages, The Laurie Beechman Theatre and venues in Thailand, London, The Netherlands and all across the world. His song cycle, MOMENT BY MOMENT, is available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon. Proud member of ASCAP and The Dramatists Guild.
 
Daniel Hutchins (Director) is a soon to be graduate of The Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Musical Theater with an emphasis in Directing.  Previous and upcoming directing credits include: Estrogen & Testosterone (45th Street Theater, NYC, World premiere), Peter and Alice, Disney's On the Record (regional premiere), Almost, Maine, and Aida (The Boston Conservatory). He recently founded the 501(c) organization; Create. Inspire. Change. Theater Company (who's mission is to provide theater for underprivileged families), in which he is the artistic director. Daniel is also on the summer faculty at The Performing Arts Connection where he directs and teaches acting and musical theater to students grades K-12. 
 
Jane Bernhard (Producer): is a soon to be graduate of Boston Conservatory with a BFA in musical theatre. Regional credits include On The Town at Barrington Stage Company, as well as Only Anne with Goodspeed Opera House, Carrie the Musical (Sue Snell) with Peregrine Theatre Ensemble, Hairspray (Amber) with Wheelock Family Theatre, and 9 to 5 (Judy) at Summer Repertory Theatre. Catalina Gaglioti (Producer) is a soon-to be graduate of the Boston Conservatory, where she earned a BFA in musical theatre. John Krause is a proud graduate of the Boston Conservatory class of 2012. Credits include Green Day's American Idiot: The Musical (ensemble, u/s Johnny, Will, and Tunny) and Drew Boley in Rock of Ages (NCL and Vegas casts.) Alison McCartan is thrilled to be joining her fellow BoCo alum in the ASO Cabaret! Daniel Plimpton just finished the First National Tour of "Book of Mormon" playing Elder Pop Tarts!!! A graduate from Boston Conservatory in 2013, Daniel has also toured the country with "Spring Awakening." Regional credits include Paper Mill Playhouse, North Shore Music Theatre, Engeman Theatre, Surflight Theatre, Weston Playhouse, and Lyric Stage Company. Thanks to Jane for having me!!

Nicole Carpenter is a soon to be graduate of the Boston Conservatory with a BFA in musical theatre. Austin J. Evans is thrilled to be making his NYC performance debut alongside his supremely talented colleagues.  Most recent credits include Thomas Middleton’s jacobean play The Revenger’s Tragedy (Hippolito) and a workshop production of Dario Fo’s one act farce The Virtuous Burglar (Antonio.) Sara has spent her last two summers at Theatre By The Sea performing in Grease (Cha Cha), The Little Mermaid, My Fair Lady, and Mary Poppins. Andy Garcia is a soon to be graduate of The Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Musical Theater with an emphasis in dance and acting. Regional Credits include: West Side Story (Action) with Opera North, Hairspray and Charlotte's Web (Wilbur) with Summer Theatre of New Canaan, and Shrek and Hairspray with Wheelock Family Theater. Recent credits include: In The Heights (Sonny), Ghost The Musical (Sam), the regional premiere of Disney's On The Record (Mike), On The Town (u/s Chip), and The Pajama Game at The Boston Conservatory. Cody Garcia is a graduating senior of the Boston Conservatory. He is a proud cast member of the ARTs Donkey Show, and was recently a part of the Festival of New Musicals at the Goodspeed Opera House, as well as the Boston Conservatory production of Urinetown as Officer Lockstock. Cody has worked as an entertainer at Point Sebago Resort in Casco, Maine, as well as the Summer Repertory Theatre in Santa Rosa, California.
