View and create custom reports on customer data (financial, transaction, reconcile, marketing, COMP)

If you want to view either specific customer-related data, or gather all of the information about your customers and generate a report, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Purplepass event organizer dashboard
  2. Select Reporting located at the top navigation bar on your home screen
  1. Next, select one of the customer report options on the left-hand side

Financial: Generate reports that provide a full breakdown of all revenue sources and expenses, including service fees and credit card processing.

Transaction: View and export every data point available on your customers and their purchases including what they bought, when they bought it, and how they bought it.

Reconcile: This report provides a daily breakdown of sales to reconcile your batch reports and bank deposits. You will be able to match up the transactions and amounts of your sales and refunds.

NOTE: This report only applies to you if you are using your own merchant account.

Marketing: Here you can run a report to view the page views and sales generated on your events from outside websites and via your tracking links. This will allow you to monitor your performance and identify which marketing efforts are producing results and which are not.

COMP: This report contains all information related to the COMP guest list entries that you added to your events, including their contact info, notes on who they are, what they were given, and if they used their COMP tickets or not.

  1. In Step 2: Select Information to Include, check all the boxes containing the information you want to view about the customers - this is different for each report type.
  1. Once all the information you wish to display is selected, click Generate Report to create your report.

    NOTE: If you want to save this template for future use, click Save Report and the template will appear under the View saved report dropdown.
