Automatically apply a coupon code when certain criteria have been met
If you would like to apply an automatic coupon code when certain criteria(s) are met when purchasing tickets for an event, follow these step:
- Log in to the Purplepass promoter dashboard
- Edit an existing event or click on “Create New Event” in the top navigation menu
- When creating your event, scroll down the page until you reach the “Ticket Pricing and Options” section
- At the bottom of that section, select the “ Add coupon code” button located on the left side of the screen with the green + icon
- The “Create Coupon Code” window will open
- In the pop-up window, click the box labeled “Manually create one code”
- Select the ticket type by selecting the appropriate options in the drop-down menu titled “Valid with” located to the right of “Coupon code”
- Enter all the appropriate information for the “Type of Discount” section
- Below this section in the gray box, fill in the information for the “Valid for a min/max/exact ticket(s) (Optional)” section. NOTE: this will allow you to set the number of tickets needed to trigger the automatic code.
- Once you have entered all the relevant information, click the “Auto trigger this coupon if criteria is met” box under the “Auto trigger (Optional)” section
- Click the purple “Save Coupon Code” button at the bottom of the screen
