MCC Summer Flute Project – Full Week Pass June 19-23, 2023 PLUS the June 24th AZ FluteFest MCC Performing Arts Center T he MCC Summer Flute Project is a five-day flute camp/flute intensive experience that brings renowned guest artists and local artist faculty together with flutist participants in a stimulating and supportive environment. Week-long attendees will enjoy a different warm-up class each day, coached chamber ensemble rehearsals, and the SFP Flute Choir in the mornings followed after the lunch break with multiple offerings of recitals, master classes, topic classes, focused workshops, and interactive offerings presented by the guest artists and the artist faculty including reading sessions, AMEA Regional Etudes, managing performance anxiety, tone development, phrasing, and much more. Register early to be included as a performer in master classes. Priority will be given to week-long participants with limited space for single-afternoon attendees.
The week-long program is available to all college, high school, and adult flutists.
The daily schedule is 9:00am – 4:00pm and the SFP ensembles will present a concert at 5:00pm on Friday, June 23rd. The full tuition is $300 after that date. The week-long registration also INCLUDES the AZ FluteFest on Saturday, June 24th. Single afternoon tickets are available separately and are open to all with a $40 fee.

The artist faculty is selected from the valley’s top flutists and outstanding clinicians, these professionals will be coaching chamber ensembles and presenting a variety of classes throughout the week. This summer’s artists:
