Blood is powerful stuff, and harnessing this in scene can bring a new level of spirituality to your play, be used to command primal fear in your bottom... or, hell, you can just use it as fingerpaint!
This class has three sections. In the first section, Shay, a phlebotomy expert, will discuss the medical how-to of obtaining blood using butterfly needle sets and clean technique. This will include brief information on negotiation specific to blood play, vein anatomy and physiology, safety considerations, and practical tips and tricks on performing venipunctures. The second section will deal with what to DO with all that beautiful blood now that you’ve obtained it, including specific examples and demonstrations of blood ritual scenes. Finally, in the third section, Stefanos & Shay will allow time for guided practice. Supplies for in-class use will be provided. If you’d like to practice, you should come to this seminar with a willing partner. Note that this class is NOT full phlebotomy training (it’s only an hour and a half, after all!) but will give you the tools to get started and sadistic/spiritual inspiration! This is edge play and not advised for newbies.

As Purveyors of Perversion, Stefanos & Shay (StefanosandShay.com) are known for teaching classes that are entertaining (they've been called "better than a Vegas act") and also packed with useful and applicable information. Together this unconventional D/s couple hosts events and teaches classes several times a month in SF Bay Area and beyond.
