It Hurts So Good - or - Pain and Play - or - The Physiology of Ouchies! Presented by GlassHummingbird

Have you ever asked yourself what in the heck motivates perfectly normal people to allow themselves to be cuffed to a cross and beaten until they scream? I mean, really. I do this for fun, and then go to work the next day, and look at my co-workers and think, "Ha-ha. I was beaten last night, and you were sitting on the couch watching a re-run of Family Guy." And then I think, "Oh. What I did was rather odd."

Well, in this class, you'll get a bit of an idea. And, you'll also find out how to make the experience even better.

We'll talk about all of the fun-chemicals that your body produces when you experience pain, and how they all contribute to that heroin-high that keeps us coming back for more. We'll also talk about how our pain-nerves work, and how Sadists can use this information to make each experience last longer, and feel "better." And, we'll touch on how our brains process pain differently in different situations. Like for example, it's rather difficult to bottom to a stubbed toe or bashed funny-bone, but being caned 10 times at full force is awesome!

And! We will be hurting each other! Yay! What would a Pain Class be if we didn't hurt each other, at least a little bit? We will have pinchy things! You will have an opportunity to do clothespin zippers on each other! Sadists, bring your masochists! Masochists, bring your sadists! Bring your nipple-clamps, and bring your nipples. (Note: There might be partial nudity in this class. You will not be required to participate in the nudity, but you are free to watch as much as you'd like.)

Class from 8-10pm, doors open at 7:30pm
Cost: $20 at the door, $15 in advance

About the presenter:
GlassHummingbird (pronounced "Donna") has been quietly kinky for well over a decade. She first went to Power Exchange and Bondage-a-Go-Go over 13 years ago, and since then has been playing behind closed doors, until quite recently coming back to the public scene. She has been an RN for (somewhat coincidentally) also just over 13 years. She is a home health and hospice nurse, which means that a large part of her job consists of managing people in severe acute or chronic pain. And, besides, she likes pain a lot, herself.
