Description

Molly Gazay and Brittanie Sheree are two girls from California who moved to the big city to follow their dreams of stardom and they hope to become jaded actors like most of their peers one day. But for now they are filled with optimism and can't wait to share their optimistic view in their first duo show. They blend their love of comedy, music and offensive personalities into one big 60 minute show.

Molly Gazay, originally from San Francisco, Ca is hitting the Big Apple! She's been working it on screen playing characters such as: The Penguin in The Robin Project and as Psycho Killer Melissa in "The Secrets We Hide". Past performances include: Short films "Flame" and "Click" which showcased Molly's singing and acting at Cannes Film Festival and "Puppet People: A Dark Comedy Musical" web series Molly co-wrote, directed, acted and sang in. Her recents stage credits include: Maureen Johnson in "Rent", Lucy Harris in "Jeckyll & Hyde", Claudia Roe in "Enron. A Play" Dee Dee Dulce in "Tony and Tina's Wedding SF" and The Evil Queen in "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" She has performed in several benefit/cabaret shows as a singer and songwriter on piano and guitalele including: Moon Owl Productions NYC, Something C.O.O.L Cabaret SF and Don't Tell Mama's "Next Big Act" where she met the fabulous Brittanie Sheree!  www.mollygazay.com

Brittanie Sheree, or as she likes to call herself “Diva Star” hails from the armpit of California. Bakersfield to be exact. As a child she enjoyed watching her VHS of Super Star over and over again. Brittanie, I mean Diva Star has always been a funny girl. She knows this because people are constantly telling her just how funny she is. Her dreams of being on SNL are still far away but she thought why not put on some fun shows until Lorne Michaels comes knocking on her door. She made her solo show debut at The Duplex last April with "It's Brittanie B**CH!" Brittanie's life told through the music of Britney Spears. Her credits include: Elphaba from Wicked, she performed the dream version. By dream version, I am implying that she played Elphaba in her dreams. But who are we to discredit her? Her actual credits are something like playing a Brother in Joseph and the Amazing blah blah blah and playing someone with aids in RENT. A few showcases here and a few showcases there. Oh let’s not forget the time she played a lesbian princess with a bunch of sass in the production of Daniel in Distress  at The Bad Theater Festival. If you want to know more about this girl who plans on taking over the comedy world you can follow her on Twitter: @brittaniesheree and Instagram: @divabrittaniesheree. www.brittaniesheree.com
