Kelly Corbin Description
Kelly Corbin will perform January 19th 2014, at the Esplanade Arts Center, 2181 W. Esplanade Avenue, San Jacinto. Admission is $20 for Online Pre-Sale and $25 at the door. Student tickets are $10 for Online Pre-Sale and $15 at the door.
As a performer, Dr. Corbin has performed all over the United Sates with names such as The Temptations, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Larry Koonse, and Marshall Hawkins. Currently, Dr. Kelly Corbin is the band director at Twentynine Palms Junior High School and saxophone instructor at College of the Desert, and Riverside Community College. His formal music education includes College of the Desert, Copper Mountain College, Riverside Community College, California State University, Northridge, California Institute of the Arts, and University of Illinois, Urbana-Champain where he received his doctorate from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and wrote his thesis "The Musical Language of Saxophonist Chris Potter." MUSIC AT THE CENTER is a fundraiser for The DVAC and its programs. Guests receive two glasses of wine (or other beverage), appetizer, access to the current gallery exhibition as well as the concert. Doors open at 6:00 pm with the concert beginning at 6:30 pm. Items Not Allowed
