PJ Geissinger, also known as “Starkey,” is blessed with musical arrangement skills that would leave most composers green with envy. These traits combined with his high production ethic make him a formidable force not only in the underground but also as a super producer of the future. Starkey is yet another example of what the streets of Philadelphia can create; his sound hits hard and is littered with bass and colorful audio frequencies. If you like grime, Dubstep, hip hop and all things, "street bass," then Starkey's hard edged spaced out crunk is the sound for you.

In, 2008, Starkey was selected for Mary Anne Hobb's low end special "Generation Bass". In 2010 he was again selected by MAH for the "Building a Beat" special where he crafted a track from scratch within two hours live on air.

Starkey is also co-owner of the Seclusiasis and Slit Jockey Record labels, releasing the freshest output from around the globe. These labels combined with his bi-weekly radio show on Sub FM have positioned him as one of the innovators to emerge out of the bass heavy underground.

Starkey's 2nd full-length album for the seminal Planet Mu label was released in April of 2010. Entitled, “Ear Drums and Black Holes”, it garnered rave reviews with DJ Mag giving the album a 9 out of 10 monthly rating and suggested it "could be dubstep's ‘Sgt. Pepper and the Lonely Hearts Club Band'." NME said it was "a hell of a lot of fun" and Brainer called it a "dazzling record".

The past year Starkey has released an album on Civil Music with the much lauded "Space Traitor Vols. 1 & 2", as well as Ninja Tune with the genre-defying "Open the Pod Bay Doors" EP.

Recent remixes include Tinie Tempah, Armand Van Helden, Gorilla Zoe, Uffie, Tempa T, Zomby, Inner Party System, The Constellations, Kano and The Foals to name a few!! Current writing and production sessions with Guy Sigsworth (Bjork, Diana Vickers, Imogen Heap, and Britney Spears) are proving fruitful with songs being passed around various major recording artists such as Kelis, Missy Elliot, MIA, Britney Spears, Dizzee Rascal and more. Starkey is currently working on his 3rd full-length album due for release in 2012.... Stay tuned.

Born and raised in Fresno, California, Ryan Lewis – better known as Ry Legit – fell head first into the world of music production and composition. Fourteen years young, Ry came into a borrowed Roland MC-505 groove box. Within a year of working with his first all analog controller and simple bedroom studio, his beats became some of the highest rated tracks on Acid Planet. By 2002, Ry found his nearly permanent studio solution in Fruity Loops, which allows what he feels are almost limitless possibilities and direct artistic expression.

In time, Ry took a step back from the production end of the evolving genres and simply listened, though his ear wasn’t stuck on electronic music. Guns n’ Roses, 2pac, Bring Me The Horizon, Beethoven and modern film composers like Clint Mansell inspired him, lifting the notions of what ‘dance’, ‘EDM’, and ‘Dubstep’ music could truly be. Ry created pop, metal, hip-hop, even punk songs on his own time while working as an audio engineer in a local production house. There he worked with a wide variety of musical talent which further influenced and solidified his calling as both producer and song writer.

In 2009, the heavy side of Dubstep caught Ry’s ear. It was like nothing he had heard before, and a perfect match for his style of expression. A year later, after releasing nearly 20 Dubstep tracks exclusively to his YouTube Channel, Ry released Buzz Lightyear. Buzz Lightyear gained a massive viral internet response within a year, gathering millions of listeners. The influential mix of 80’s hair metal, street hip-hop, metal-core, classical masterpieces, timeless film scores and Dubstep have all lead to Ry’s style, allowing him to sign with various record labels and distribute his music internationally.
