For anyone who has ever felt like they don’t matter, Dixie’s Tupperware Party is a southern tale of empowerment that leaves your heart a little bigger and your food a little fresher. After a final meeting with her parole officer, this ex-con mother of three from a trailer park in Alabama straightens out her life by selling the iconic plastic bowls. She quickly became the hottest seller in the country by throwing the kind of parties you won’t soon forget. With her booze-filled sippy cup, Dixie shares many alternative uses for what she calls "the most fantastic plastic crap on the planet" which made THE TODAY SHOW cheer, "This is not your grandmother's Tupperware Party." * Performances at the Capital City Productions are not cancelled due to weather conditions. As long as the actors are on stage and able to perform, the show will go on. Because tickets are not refundable or exchangeable after purchase, we do encourage everyone to travel safely and provide themselves with extra travel time in the event of inclement weather.
* Masks are no longer mandatory. However, if you are more comfortable wearing a mask, please feel free to continue the practice.
* PLEASE silence and/or turn off all cell phones and electronic devices during your production. We also ask all guests to refrain from texting or using a phone to check the time during performances. The light is distracting to the performers and other audience members.
