Description

  • World Environment Day will be the largest event in Rajasthan's history, featuring a variety of environmental activities to promote rural and urban environmental education. The event will be a successfully conducted with the involvement of the Rajasthan government and other private institutions. The event has more than 5000 attendees. The ceremony will be followed by a conference and power point presentations by famous environmentalists and ministers.

  • Scholars from all prestigious universities will be invited to share their work on environmental issues. In this programme, eminent personalities related with the environment will be honoured, and experts from across the world will also participate remotely and share their knowledge on the environment.

  • Contests will be arranged for a variety of activities, such as painting contests and writing competitions, in order to raise awareness among people of all ages.

  • To be more specific, the event will focus on raising awareness and building environmental protections among ordinary people from various civilizations and communities.

The following are some guidelines for attendees and participants.

Summit Attendee:

1.On the event day, attendees must pick up their ID cards.

2.To present their work, academics and researchers can contact the organizer.

3.You will receive a notepad or a pencil from the organiser.

4.Attendees must wear formal attire.

Rules for Participants:

1.On the event day, participants must have their tickets or activity vouchers with them.

2.Participants in the arts and crafts must bring their supplies (brushes, paints, etc.) with them..

3.You will be given paper sheets, clay, various-sized pots, newspapers, magazines, and a spot to display your artwork by the event organizer.

4.On the day of the event, each Participant must pick up their ID card.

5.Participants in the street play should bring their own costumes.

ACTIVITES OF WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

General things to be considered –

• Students from schools are welcome with their parents. University/college students should come along with their faculty teacher.

• The participants are requested to reach the venue before 15 minutes of their respective competitions.

• Students must carry their id-cards

• Free registration for all the participants.

• Maximum number of participants are welcomed.

• Certificate of participation will be given to all

• Winners of competitions will be rewarded.

• We have two categories-

o Below 16 years

o 16 years and above

Rules for the competitions-

o Word limit- 800 to 1500 words

o Language- Hindi/English

o Original work (minimum 10%plagiarism allowed)

o Time- 45 minutes

o Topic- related to the environment

o Word limit- 300 to 1000 words

o Time- 45 minutes

o The best 3 will be published on our website.

2. Drawing art, doodling

Drawing-

o Use of water colour/ sketching/ crayons

o Time- 3 hours to 4 hours

o Topic- related to environment

o Original content

o Time- 3 hours to 4 hours

3. Collage making

o Use - sticks leaves nuts magazines newspaper

o Time- 3 hours to 4 hours . 2 minutes to explain your art

o Maximum three members are allowed.

o The art should convey some social message.

4. Clay art

o Time to be allowed 3 hours to 4 hours

o Topic can be chosen on your own.

5. Making bags

o Use-t-shirt, newspapers, shoe laces, scrap

o Time- 120 minutes

o Bring your own materials.

6. Recycle bin art (best out of waste)

o Maximum number of members allowed are 2.

o Time - 12 hours to 3 hours

o Theme can be chosen on own.

7. Pot decoration and plantation

o Time- 3 hours to 4 hours

o Theme- any topic

9. Project exhibition/ science project

o Team – 5 to 10 members

o Space will be provided by us to display their project

o 10 minutes will be given to explain your project.

10. Photography

o Individual entries are to be submitted.

o Participants are requested to bring their own digital cameras or mobile phones to capture the moments.

o Minimum 10 and maximum 20 photos are to be submitted with photo title.

o Submitted photographs will be property of REECC.

11. Street play/ mime act

o The groups have to send their entries through mail or WhatsApp. The best two will be selected and will be given chance to show their act on 4th and 5th June.

o Time- 10 minutes

12. Live portrait

o Use- sheet paper/ canvas

o Time- 3 hours to 4 hours

Activities (open for all)

1. Community clean up

o Time- 5:00 am to 8:00 am

2. Recycle bin for donations

There will be several recycle bins at the event. People are asked to donate any items they no longer use by bringing them out. It might be clothing, electronics, or any type of home object.
