Set in a world of fantasy role-playing games, SHE KILLS
MONSTERS tells the story of Agnes Evans, and her quest to come to terms with
the death of her teenage sister, Tilly. When Agnes finds Tilly’s notebook
filled with Dungeons & Dragons adventures, she embarks on a journey through
her sister’s imaginary world and refuge. This high-octane, cosplay comedy laden
production, filled with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90s pop culture
brings playwright Qui Nguyen’s heart-pounding homage of the geek and warrior to
the SDSCPA stage.
