SynopsisDeath arrives in a Mexican town to take an old woman to the afterlife. On her journey, she meets Juana, a girl who teaches her how to celebrate the Day of the Dead. They both learn about the importance of appreciating life, what love is, and how important it is to preserve traditions. This reading will be performed in Spanish.  CIMIENTOS presents texts with visionary craftsmanship. At the core of the program, Cimientos aims to curate work that is diverse and inclusive. Twenty-two years ago, IATI Theater began a steadfast commitment to the playwright. Since then, hundreds of playwrights have graced our program.

Additional Information
A mask must be worn over the nose and mouth while entering the building. Acceptable face coverings are KN95s, N95s, KN94s, or surgical masks. Cloth masks will no longer be accepted as an appropriate face covering.
