Description
Terry Rakov appeared on Broadway with Carol Channing in the revival of Hello Dolly, and with Joel Grey in Jerry Herman’s The Grand Tour. She toured nationally as Adelaide in Guys and Dolls with Maureen McGovern and in Zorba with Anthony Quinn, serving as Mr. Quinn’s vocal coach as well as appearing with him on stage.

Off Broadway, Ms. Rakov appeared in Romance Is at the Perry St.Theater and in Bittersuite at the Quaigh. She shared the stage with Faith Prince as the Ugly Stepsisters in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella at the CLO in Pittsburgh, and then returned as Julie in Showboat, Marge MacDougal in Promises, Promises and The Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz with Cathy Rigby. Alan Menken and Howard Ashman brought Ms. Rakov to the Arena Stage in Washington DC to appear in a production of their off broadway hit God Bless You Mr. Rosewater. Other regional credits include Man of La Mancha with John Raitt, A Little Night Music at the Walnut St Theater in Philadelphia, Gypsy at the Kansas City Starlight, Annie Get Your Gun at Art Park and Kate in three separate productions of Kiss Me Kate.

Also an acclaimed cabaret and concert performer, Ms. Rakov has appeared in clubs and on stages in New York City, Washington D.C., Westchester NY, and beyond.

Mason Griffin is a musical theater accompanist, coach, conductor, and music director. He studied music at LSU with Dr. Pamela Pike, Dr. Jeffrey Perry, and Terry Patrick-Harris. In NYC, he has worked with LaGuardia High School, Amas Musical Theatre, MTCA, Jen Waldman Studio, The New York Film Academy, Applause NY, Broadway Classroom, The West End Lounge, NYU, CCNY, Sing for Your Seniors, and UNIS. As music director, highlight shows include: Naked Boys Singing! (Off-Broadway), RENT, Les Miserables, The Addams Family, Spelling Bee, A Funny Thing...Forum, Little Shop of Horrors, I Love a Piano, and Dreamgirls. He is currently an in-house pianist at Ayada Thai in Chelsea Market. A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mason was the guest conductor of Louisiana State University's annual spring musical theater showcase Singo de Mayo for six years. He has had the pleasure of working with industry professionals such as: Taylor Negron, Steve Martin, Edie Brickell, Patti Murin, Baayork Lee, Mrs. Kasha Davis, Andrew Rannells and Laura Osnes. He has performed throughout NYC at 54 Below, The Duplex Cabaret, Theatre Row, The Laurie Beechman, Uncle Charlie's Piano Bar, Haswell Greens, The 13th Street Repertory Theater and The Triad. Mason created the show No Blue Monday, celebrating the life and music of Broadway composer/lyricist Jerry Herman. He is currently working on another Herman show, Open A New Window, featuring his lesser known songs and he will be recording a Herman album in the future.
