Nella Description
Nella is a new voice hailing from the Venezuelan island of Margarita. A 2019 Latin GRAMMY Winner for Best New Artist and a Berklee College of Music alum, Nella’s music is a meeting place for her country’s folklore roots, the influence of her contemporaries, and the music of the Andalusian region.
For her first North American tour, reflecting the spare sound of her 2019 album Voy, Nella will be accompanied by a trio featuring guitar, bass and percussion, with songs from the album as well as “some Venezuelan jewels,” such as “La Negra Atilia” and “Tonada de Luna Llena. Society for the Performing Arts connects audiences with exceptional artists through diverse performances and learning experiences. Items Not Allowed
