Description

Welcome to the rock ’n’ roll world of Grease. Experience the friendships, romances and adventures of Rydell High School’s senior class of 1959. Follow the too-cool for school “Burger Palace Boys” and their gum-snapping “Pink Ladies” as they navigate the expectations of high school and their rebellious spirit. At the heart of the story are head “greaser” Danny Zuko and the sweet new girl in town, Sandy Dumbrowski. They had a secret summer romance, but now they are back in school. Can it survive the peer-pressure and cliques that make their love more complicated? The whole gang sings and dances around Danny and Sandy’s romance, through such hit songs as “Greased Lightnin”, “We Go Together”, “Born To Hand Jive”, and “Beauty School Dropout” recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became a soundtrack of a generation. Starting off with an eight-year Broadway run, Grease is among the world’s most popular musical and favorites of rock ’n’ roll fans of all ages.
