Baldwin Players Description
The Spitfire Grill is a spirited musical that introduces audiences to Percy Talbott in her own prison cell. Based on the Zlotoff film of the same name, the plot unfolds to reveal a young woman with a past who winds up in a small Wisconsin town to “find herself.” In a story of resilience, reckoning, and friendship, Percy ends up finding much more than she bargained for. Her journey of self-renewal results in a journey of renewal for that small town as well. Written by James Valcq and Fred Alley, the musical has been critically acclaimed as a musical treat and heralded for its heartwarming themes and characters. |
