Description
Join us on Sunday August 18th as we embark on a memorable day-trip excursion to the beautiful Sonoma County area. This exclusive tour is limited to 30 people, so purchase your tickets now! The pick-up location is at the El Cerrito Plaza BART. You can take the BART there, or drive and leave your car there for free. The bus will be leaving at 11:30am.
Our first stop will be at the Jacuzzi Family Winery. All the wines are 100% vegan, and we will be sampling 5. The Olive Press is also in the same building and there will be enough time to do olive oil and balsamic vinegar tastings. We will also have the opportunity to tour the beautiful grounds and take pictures. Miyoko Schinner, author of Artisan Vegan Cheese, will not be joining us on the tour this time, but she will be pairing the cheeses with the wines, and yes we will get to sample her cheeses along with the wines. Afterwards, we will be getting back on the bus and heading over to Cline to sample five of their wines (all vegan). Just like Jacuzzi, all of their wines are vegan! For those of you who attended the last tour, we will have more time to socialize on this tour since the wineries are really close by, and they are right off the freeway. Itinerary: 11:30am Pick-up at El Cerrito BART 12pm Stop in Marin (exact address TBA) 12:30pm-2:00pm Wine and Cheese Tasting at Jacuzzi, check out The Olive Press, tour the grounds 2:00pm-4pm Head over to Cline, picnic lunch, and wine tasting 4pm Head back to El Cerrito 5pm Arrive at El Cerrito BART Tickets are $120 and includes the following: -Wine tastings at Jacuzzi Family Winery & Cline Cellars (5 at each) -Cheeses by Miyoko Schiner -15% discount on bottles at both places -Commemorative stemless wine glass (courtesy of Natalie from HALO Branded Solutions, for the first 10 people to purchase tickets!) If you would like join us directly at the wineries instead of taking the bus the cost is $100 (advance ticket purchase is necessary) Want avoid paying the service fees?
