ABOUT OUR LECTURER

Dr. Jason Vickers is Professor of Theology at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. An ordained elder on the Western NC Conference of the United Methodist Church, Dr. Vickers is a past president of the Wesleyan Theological Society, the current editor of the Wesleyan Theological Journal, and the author or editor of eleven books.

He is married to Lacey, with whom he has three children, Garrett, McKenna, and Henley. Dr. Vickers is an outdoors enthusiast, a lifelong fan of classical country music, a motorcyclist, and a cancer survivor.
