Fair Debt Collections has always been a hot topic for businesses, especially financial services. This webinar will delve into the FDCPA regulations line by line. Complimenting the technical interpretation of the law we will explore the practical application of the law in collection practices, policies, and procedures. Given the advent of the CFPB< the renewed interest by the FDIC, the OCC, and other regulators we will also update the latest regulator guidance in this area.
Areas Covered in the Session:
All areas of the FDCPA is covered in this review. A technical look at the aspects of the regulations will cover what the law specifically states. Then, we will apply regulator guidance and expert interpretation of the rules so that participants will be able to apply or tailor the application of the rules to their own business. Finally, we will discuss the most recent interpretations and rules by the regulators that could change the way debt collections are handled.
