Self-described "male actress" Peter Mac has wowed audiences and critics alike for over a decade with his portrayal of the world's greatest entertainer Judy Garland. That sobriquet has been confirmed by those who knew and loved Judy Garland including the bestowment of the Academy's Motion Picture Council Golden Halo Award. An award presented to Mac by late great Academy Award Winner Mickey Rooney and Academy Award Margaret O'Brien for his "outstanding achievement in live, loving and accurate performances of Judy Garland." This past Fall Peter received a rave review from the NY Times "...Mac duplicating the singer’s physical and vocal mannerisms to often eerie effect."
Now, Judy Garland is spending the evening with some of her favorite gal pals. Some of the fabulous superstars who may drop in include: Mae West, Elaine Stritch, Carol Channing, Liza Minnelli, Tallulah Bankhead, Bette Davis, Dame Edna, Peggy Lee, Katherine Hepburn or any of the more than 50 women who Mac portrays on stage. It's a new show every week at the Producers Club, and Mac performs each and everyone of the roles as these iconic ladies of yesteryear. Please note: that the Producer's Club unfortunately not handicap accessible and requires that audience climb one flight of stairs. Where an when manual assistance can be provided it will be offered, further all requests for other accessibility requests will be accommodated if possible. Bathrooms are located on the same floor as the theatre. There is also a full cash bar and you can bring drinks to your seats. Additional Information
