Teen Academy Instructor Description
Super-charged LEGO Robotics Projects! Get ready to take ultimate control! Using the Mindstorm intelligent brick from LEGO servo motors, advanced ultrasonic, touch and light sensors, and specialized LEGO Technic engineering components, students will build extreme robots and overcome challenges. Students working in small teams will control the robot with NXT programs and then experiment and modify the programs. Students will be challenged to morph their projects into better, stronger or faster robots. Possible competitive robots built are Tug-O-War Bots, a Hammer-Bot, a Claw-Striker and a Sumo-Bot. Monday-Thursday, June 22-25, 2020, 1pm-4pm. Ages 13-15 or Grades 7th-9th. Please bring a drink and snack daily.
