Dances with Crow's Feet: If You Knew My Story is an original production written by Lois Brace and based on the stories of women in our community. This true, uplifting, funny, and sometimes sad story celebrates aging women at different stages of maturity.
Dances with Crow’s Feet has been in workshop since September 2018. We started with 20 participants 10 of them have committed to the story! Five of our ten ladies are playing themselves and five are portraying someone else’s story. It could be likened to reality tv – but onstage.
These ladies are crowologists! They are experts on crow lore. Crows exist in every tribal culture in the world. Crows tell stories. They hand down their stories. Everyone has a story. Every story has value. The only way a story can live on and benefit someone else is if it is SHARED.
The title Dances with Crow's Feet is being used with express permission of Deb Campbell of Arts & Ageing KC based on her program Dancing with Crow's Feet.
