Description
Current American Heart Association standards for one and two rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and obstructed airway procedures on the adult, infant and pediatric victim. Use of automated external defibrillator and resuscitative equipment. Students receive healthcare provider BLS card upon successful completion of the course. The cost is $25 which covers the cost of skills instruction and your card. You will receive your card on the same day upon successful completion of the course. Students are to go to the following site and take the online course (fee is $28.50) PRIOR to taking this class. Students must print off their certificate of completion of the online AHA course and bring it to class with them to be eligible to participate in the course. Only registered students can participate. Payments will not be accepted at the door.

The class will be held at Central City campus, building A, door 4 in the Healthcare Department from 1pm to 5pm.
