Description
Are you feeling stunted by your current audition material? Have you experienced trauma, joy, success, heartbreak, loss, or profound change in your life? Do you have any props? As we say in the industry, use it. All of it. Through 30 original monologues, Emily Olcott demonstrates 30 different approaches for how to audition in style. Directed by Tristan Powell. Emily Olcott is a writer and performer based in Brooklyn. She recently performed her one woman show, Women’s Healing Circle, at The Duplex. She also co-hosts comedy variety show Met Ball at The Well. In New York, she’s performed at venues such as The Tank, The Flea, Dramatists Guild, MT Factory, NY Theater Barn, Club Cumming, Caveat, and many more. She’s a proud actor and director with Story Pirates and recently wrote and performed in the short film After You’ve Gone. $10 Ticket in Advance & a 2 Drink Minimum in the Cabaret Theatre* $15 Ticket at the Door (plus service fee) & a 2 Drink Minimum in the Cabaret Theatre* *Drinks Must be purchased In the Cabaret Theatre to count towards the Minimum.
