MUST ATTEND ALL 2 DAYS – ICAADA'S Recovery Coach Ethics course is an intensive two-day training designed to enable participants to explore the ethical dimensions and issues that a recovery coach may encounter as they promote recovery. Training focuses on the legal and moral issues that may surface while providing recovery coaching services. Training topics will include definition of recovery coach ethics, ICAADA'S recovery coach code of ethics, ethical responsibilities of recovery coaching, guidelines for ethical decision-making, and ethics of profession development. Training methods utilized will be lecture, discussion, small group activities, and skill practice. There will be 16 continuing education units awarded to recovery coach ethics participants. This training meets the ethics educational requirements for ICAADA’S Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach II (CADAC II). Additional Information
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Registration: 8:30 a.m. doors open at 9:00 a.m.
Morning session: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Lunch: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Afternoon session: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Daily light breakfast, snacks during the day, water and coffee.
