Rick Borutta tells the story of being personal assistant to actress Elaine Stritch.

Written and Performed by: Rick Borutta

In his autobiographical solo work, the former assistant to actress Elaine Stritch looks back on “good times and bum times” and discovers parts of himself that were waiting to be revealed, parts that the fabled actress known for her extraordinary antics may have seen all along.

Rick Borutta began his professional career in live theater. He managed productions across the globe for Tommy Tune and Elaine Stritch, appearing with the latter in the HBO documentary Elaine Stritch at Liberty.
