G​ET OFF THE GRID FEST aims to collaborate with renewable energy and sustainable living enthusiasts, homesteaders, performers, organizations and vendors by providing a forum where people share tools, ideas, workshops and stories about getting off the grid.

The 2019 Get Off the Grid Fest, August 9,10 and 11 at Warren Wilson College

             Big Berea Pasture 2500 BLOCK of Riceville Rd., Asheville, N.C.

Getting There-

   The Festival is being held in a 16 acre pasture alongside Riceville Rd. between

Old Farm School Rd. and Dillingham Circle north and west of the central campus of Warren Wilson College. There is NO general parking at the festival site itself. The following remote parking areas, all within minutes of the festival grounds have been secured for your use during the event and will be served by shuttle transportation provided by The Trolley Company, Emma Bus and The Get Off the Grid Fest. Buses, trolleys and vans will depart on the half-hour beginning at 4pm on Friday, August 9th, 9:30am on Saturday, August 10th and 9:30 am on Sunday the 11th. Transport will return festival participants to these parking areas until 1am Saturday and until 1 am and 9pm Sunday.

E. If coming to the fest by Uber,Lyft or Taxi the drop/pickup point is located at The Berea Baptist Church parking lot at 2578 Riceville Rd. at Dillingham Circle.

Please Do- Carpool with friends to the festival parking areas/Purchase tickets in advance before boarding the shuttles to save time at the fest/Feel free to tip your driver/ Bring refillable water bottles, sunscreen, camp chairs, caps, cash- no ATM.

Please Don’t: Attempt to park on side streets near the fest, in neighboring yards or at the adjacent businesses/ Drop passengers at the festival entrances/ Bring coolers, pets, fireworks or weapons.
