Meet the Hillary Clinton you never knew: sassy, sarcastic, and uncensored! This feminist cabaret show imagines Hillary’s turbulent inner world just after her shocking defeat in the 2016 election. Featured on WNYC and dubbed “comedic and cathartic” by Time Out NY, "Hillary Clinton’s Song Cycle: Witness” follows Hillary as she abandons, and ultimately regains, hope. Along the way, she goes for her infamous walk in the woods, dances barefoot in her living room, commiserates with Kirsten Gillibrand, gets a visit from a Russian troll, and swears like a sailor. "Hillary Clinton’s Song Cycle: Witness” was presented by both the 2018 NY International Fringe Festival and the 2018 Charm City Fringe Festival. The show also served as a fundraiser for several political candidates during the 2018 Midterm Elections, including newly elected NY State Senators Alessandra Biaggi and Zellnor Myrie. Directed by Irene Carroll, Music & Lyrics by Rebecca Pronsky, Musical Direction & Additional Content by Deidre Rodman Struck.
