Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom
By: Jennifer Haley

Join us for the first play of the 2018-2019 Olympia High School Theatre Season: Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom by Jennifer Haley. This chilling dark comedy explores the relationship between the real world and the virtual, between people and technology, and asks the audience to decide what is safe. We are happy to present this incredibly relevant text to the Olympia community this season.

This production is dark in theme and content and is therefore cautioned with a PG rating for mild language, mature themes, and potentially disturbing scenes. As such, parents of young children are highly encouraged to hire a babysitter, leave the little ones at home, and come enjoy a night of entertainment on our stage.

In a suburban subdivision with identical houses, parents find their teenagers addicted to an online horror video game. The game setting? A subdivision with identical houses. The goal? Smash through an army of zombies to escape the neighborhood for good. But as the line blurs between virtual and reality, both parents and players realize that fear has a life of its own (from samuelfrench.com).

Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
