Description
TSUNAMI BOMB - www.facebook.com/tsunamibombofficial

Hailing from the town of Petaluma, CA., just north of San Francisco since 1998, TSUNAMI BOMB was the brain child of bassist Dominic Davi and keyboard/vocalist Oobliette Sparks. Wanting to combine influences from the darker punk of Northern California scene, with the classic Southern California hardcore, TSUNAMI BOMB set itself apart from it's fellow bands early on with energetic and dynamic live shows, dual female vocals, and atmospheric synths that helped quickly build a fiercely loyal fan base.

Bolstered by the success of early 7" release on Hunter Burgan's (AFI) Checkmate Records label, as well as an E.P. on Chuck Phelp's (Skankin Pickle, Dill Records) Tomato Head Records, TSUNAMI BOMB set about conquering America the old fashioned way -- with incessant touring.  Impressed with their fresh approach and tenacity, Joe Escalante (The Vandals) signed them to his Kung Fu Records label in 2002 and released their debut full-length "The Ultimate Escape" in September of that year.  Despite continuing line-up changes to the band, TSUNAMI BOMB continued to tour constantly worldwide, including a headlining slot on the 2003 summer Warped Tour, with Davi himself, leaving the band at summer's end (Sparks had left the year before). TSUNAMI BOMB released a second full-length, "The Definitive Act" in the fall of 2004. After more touring over the next year, the band would release a live concert DVD that would prove to be the last release, as TSUNAMI BOMB finally came to an end in the fall of 2005.

Fast forward to 2016, where due to fan demand Kung Fu Records has collected the early, now out-of-print and rare E.P.'s into a 14 track collection, "Trust No One".  On the heels of this announcement, the original TSUNAMI BOMB line-up of bassist Dominic Davi, keyboardist/vocalist Oobliette Sparks, drummer Gabe Lindeman, and guitarist Brian Plink have reunited along with new vocalist Kate Jacobi to support this new release. Performing a string of sold out shows a the end of 2015, this new rejuvenated TSUNAMI BOMB shows no signs of retiring, and has announced selected tour dates throughout the US for 2016, including a stint on the main stage of this year’s Vans Warped Tour.
