UGA Symphony Orchestra

Description

The University of Georgia Symphony Orchestra returns to our stage with something for everyone in the family. The concert features Maurice Ravel’s delightful Mother Goose Suite, weaving musical depictions of some of the most treasured classic childhood stories. Honoring the 100th anniversary of Leonard Bernstein’s birth, the orchestra will present the Symphonic Dances from his beloved West Side Story. The concert concludes with the powerful refrains of Beethoven’s immortal Fifth Symphony.
