Description

We'll start at the very beginning in this class. It's perfect for you if you've never knit a stitch before, if you used to know how to knit long ago but have forgotten, and if you know the knit stitch but not the purl or would just like a solid refresher on knitting basics. We'll learn how to cast on (begin), the two foundational knitting stitches, and how to bind off (end your work), while making a washcloth—a perfect first project. You'll leave with enough confidence and understanding to continue exploring knitting on your own. Supplies included. Age 16+. Minors permitted with parent or guardian. Both minor and adult must purchase tickets for and attend workshop.
