Solo Italiano’s Dinner in Rosso presented by PenFed Credit Union will be the neighborhood’s first flagship event to take place in the brand new Piazza della Famiglia, a 10,000-square-foot European-inspired piazza in the heart of San Diego’s Little Italy. The brand new event will offer guests a truly authentic Italian experience in San Diego’s Little Italy, while helping raise funds for the LIA to continue its efforts to enhance and preserve the history and charm of the community.

Solo Italiano’s Dinner in Rosso presented by PenFed Credit Union will be a one-of-a-kind curated dining experience featuring flowing Italian food all evening, sips of Italian beverages, live entertainment, an Italian fashion show, an exotic car show, Gesso Italiano (Italian Chalk) and interactive performances. This year’s Dinner in Rosso will transport guests to Tuscany for an elegant five-course family-style dinner, where sunflowers grow wildly, olive oil tastings are abundant and limoncello ends every meal. 

This year’s Solo Italiano’s Dinner in Rosso (Dinner in Red) presented by PenFed Credit Union will take place on Saturday, October 6, 2018, from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. Each year the Dinner in Rosso event will take on a new theme to ensure a unique experience. Servers will treat guests to continuous appetizers, main courses and dessert dishes the whole evening while enjoying strolling Italian entertainment, dancing, and more. Prior to the feast, the streets of Little Italy will be transformed into a luxurious galleria featuring the best of Italian products and artisans, an exotic car show and an Italian fashion show—giving Dinner in Rosso guests a glimpse into what a whole Solo Italiano day festival will feature in 2019. 

Dinner guests are encouraged to wear red for this premier event. Family, friends, neighbors and visitors are all invited to experience the first annual Solo Italiano’s Dinner in Rosso this year. There are a limited number of Dinner in Rosso tickets available and tickets start at $200 per person.
